MARION, Ind. – The IU Northwest men's and women's cross country teams faced a highly competitive field Friday evening at the Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcat Twilight Invitational in Marion, Indiana.
In the women's 6K race, which featured more than 200 runners, Jocelyn Martinez led the RedHawks with a 147th-place finish in 26 minutes, 43.40 seconds. Teammate Katie Plopper finished right behind in 148th with a time of 26:43.80. Addison Waddell crossed at 27:51.60 to place 171st, while Madalyn Addison finished in 29:08.50 for 184th overall.
On the men's side, Jaiden Harmon represented IU Northwest in the 8K, placing 287th out of more than 300 runners with a time of 31:32.80.
The RedHawks return to action Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Ken Weidt Classic hosted by Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, Wisconsin.
