The sports medicine room is located in the Savannah Center directly to the right of the security booth. The sports medicine rooms' main function is for the evaluation and treatment of its varsity athletes. 

Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute staff is committed to delivering the highest quality health care to all of its student-athletes. The services include, but are not limited to, injury prevention, management of athletic injuries, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. The LBJI staff will educate the athletes in proper nutrition, preventative maintenance, and to aid in  the prevention of injuries in the future. Equipment will be used to assist in the rehabilitation of an athletic injury when it is deemed necessary, cost effective, and can be completed in a timely manner. Also, sports medicine physicians who are affiliated with Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute staff will be used when further action is required.

The Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute staff will continue to be on the cutting edge of medicine  by the continual education of its staff members in order to utilize the current knowledge, research, and resources in the management of athletic injuries. LBJI staff will continually pursue state of the art and quality Athletic Training facilities, equipment, and supplies. It is
the goal of the Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute staff to fulfill the overall ethics and mission of Indiana University Northwest. The LBJI staff is committed to becoming a leader in athletic training services among NAIA colleges and universities.

Sports Medicine facilities include the following: 

  • Two hot/cold hydrotherapy tubs
  • Hydrocollator/Hot packs
  • Ice Machine/Bags
  • Ultrasounds
  • E-Stim
  • Treatment/Taping Tables
