The Indiana University Northwest Athletic Communications Office serves the RedHawks athletic department through the promotion, publicity and information services for the university's varsity and junior varsity athletic programs.
IU Northwest sponsors intercollegiate athletics in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, and men's and women's cross country.
The Athletic Communications Office is responsible for the coverage and promotion of RedHawks athletics, including the creation and distribution of news releases, game recaps, feature stories and statistical reporting. The office also oversees the maintenance and design of the official IU Northwest Athletics website, manages athletics social media platforms, and produces digital and game-day materials.
Additionally, the Athletic Communications Office serves as the primary liaison between IU Northwest Athletics and local, regional and national media. The office coordinates media coverage for home events, facilitates interview requests with coaches and student-athletes, reports statistics and information to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) and the NAIA, and maintains historical records for all RedHawks athletic programs.
This page also serves as the central hub for athletic communications policies and information, including media credential requests, interview policies, photography and video guidelines, and general information for visiting media and participating student-athletes.
