Presented by Marcus Allard Truck Rental

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — The IU Northwest men's and women's cross country teams capped their 2024 season at the CCAC Championships, hosted by Olivet Nazarene University at the Aspen Ridge Golf Course in Bourbonnais, Ill. The RedHawks battled through a deep and competitive conference field while posting major program milestones on the women's side.

The IU Northwest women finished eighth of nine teams, highlighted by four athletes recording new lifetime personal records and moving onto the program's all-time performance list. The breakthrough efforts marked one of the strongest collective postseason performances in program history, signaling continued growth under head coach Brittany Dickerson.

On the men's side, the RedHawks placed ninth in the 8K championship race, sticking together with disciplined pack running and late-race surges against a tightly matched field.

Head coach Brittany Dickerson praised both squads for their resilience and championship-level focus.

"I am incredibly proud of our ability to compete and be at our best as a team for conference competition. This is just the start for our men's and women's programs and I know that we will come back faster and fitter for this meet next year."

The CCAC Championships officially conclude the 2024 campaign for IU Northwest cross country.
