MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The IU Northwest cross country squads competed strongly Saturday at the 25th Annual Warrior Inivte hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College. The women's team claimed a 6th-place finish out of 11 schools in the 6K race, while the men's team also battled hard in the 8K event.
The women's lineup remained consistent as Jocelyn Martinez and Katie Plopper led the way once again, followed closely by Addison Waddell and Madalyn Addison to help secure the team's top-half finish. Amy Mojica rounded out the RedHawks' scoring five, marking another solid outing for the group as they continue to build midseason momentum.
On the men's side, IU Northwest's Jaiden Harmon and Jordan Warnell represented the RedHawks in the 8K race. Harmon led the way, while Warnell followed close behind as both athletes gained valuable experience against a deep field of more than 100 competitors.
Looking ahead, IU Northwest will next compete on Friday, Oct. 10, on the road at Bethel University / St. Patrick's County Park in South Bend, Indiana.
