Box Score Indiana Northwest remained undefeated at 3-0 with an 83-63 win over Rochester Christian on November 6 at the Savannah Center. The RedHawks, led by outstanding performances from Jessica Carrothers and Tiara Jackson, maintained control throughout, winning each quarter decisively.
Carrothers scored a game-high 33 points on 14-for-20 shooting, adding six assists and three steals. Jackson contributed a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds, going 7-for-10 from the field. In a historic moment, Jackson became only the second player in Indiana Northwest history, alongside Sharon Houston, to reach both 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career.
Indiana Northwest capitalized on turnovers, scoring 19 points off Rochester Christian's 18 giveaways, and dominated in the paint with 34 points. The RedHawks' fast-paced attack included strong contributions from Katelyn Halfacre with nine points and from Amari Cole and Ava Kingery off the bench with six and five points, respectively.
For Rochester Christian, Jacey Somers led with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Shahd Bakkar added 11 points off the bench. Despite a shooting surge in the third quarter, Rochester Christian couldn't close the gap as Indiana Northwest continued to push the pace and sustain its lead, which peaked at 23 points in the third.
The RedHawks will be back at home again for their nest game which is against Lawrence Tech. The game will take place in the Savannah Center on Saturday, November 9, with tip off being scheduled for 1 p.m. CST.
