RedHawks Close Season with Home Win; Brown-Griffin Honored for 1,000-Point Milestone

Presented by Marcus Allard Truck Rental

GARY, Ind. – The Indiana University Northwest women's basketball team closed out the 2025-26 season with a home victory over Judson University on Wednesday evening inside the Savannah Center, finishing ninth in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings.

Prior to tipoff, senior EJ Brown-Griffin was honored at midcourt for surpassing 1,000 collegiate career points earlier this season.

Indiana Northwest carried that energy into the opening quarter. Isabella Soria attacked early with a strong drive to the basket to get the RedHawks on the board, and Brown-Griffin followed with a finish in the paint to give IUN an early edge.

In the second quarter, Madelyn Murray provided a spark with a mid-range jumper during a key stretch, while Gracie Little added points inside to extend the advantage. The RedHawks capitalized at the free-throw line and controlled the boards to take momentum into halftime.

Judson made a push in the third quarter, trimming the deficit with a brief run. Indiana Northwest responded behind Soria's aggressive attack off the dribble and another interior finish from Brown-Griffin to steady the lead entering the final period.

In the fourth quarter, the RedHawks locked in defensively. Brown-Griffin controlled the glass, Kingery added steady ball control under pressure, and Murray contributed key late possessions to help seal the win. Indiana Northwest converted down the stretch to secure the season-ending victory on its home floor.

Brown-Griffin paced the RedHawks with a team-high scoring performance with 20 points while anchoring the rebounding effort of 14. Soria and Murray each added double-figure contributions as Indiana Northwest delivered a balanced offensive effort in the finale.
