GARY, Ind. – Men's soccer kicks-off this week's slate of action on Tuesday in a home match against St. Francis and then the weekend wrap-up with both soccer teams on the road at Viterbo Saturday, while volleyball returns home in a nonconference battle against Grace Christian at 1 p.m.

Men's Soccer
The RedHawks are looking to snap a seven-match losing skid in their Tuesday night battle against St. Francis. The Saints, who won six in a row earlier this year have since dropped two out of their last three, which includes a 4-0 loss against Saint Xavier.
Offensively for IUN,
Dom Bixeman and
Francisco Torres have scored a combined nine goals, along with firing 33 shots. In between the pipes for the RedHawks,
Jared Hecimovich has a team-best 42 saves in 740 minutes of work.
Women's Soccer
With six matches remaining on the docket, IUN is looking to secure a spot in the upcoming CCAC Tournament. The RedHawks sit a half game behind Holy Cross for the final spot in the CCAC Tournament.
Since dropping three straight in mid-September, IUN has won 2-of-3 and has outscored opponents 5-3.
Kelly Landry and
Kelly Shaffer have scored a combined four goals, while
Isabel Escalera has made 19 saves.
Volleyball
Winners of four the last six, the RedHawks find themselves in the seventh spot in the CCAC standings at 4-4. With a win Thursday, IUN would hold the tiebreaker over Saint Ambrose, who is also 4-4 in league play.
In this stretch of play the RedHawks have 40 total blocks with
Karly Jevert leading the way at 20, while
Baileigh Uporsky has returned 18.
Emma Roberts, meanwhile, has a team-high 113 digs and has 31 assists to help set up the offense.
