Box Score GARY, Ind. -- The Indiana University Northwest women's basketball fought hard but ultimately fell to Olivet Nazarene at the Savannah Center, 91-88, Thursday to snap their seven-game winning streak. Four players reached double figures for the RedHawks but the Tigers were still able to come away with the victory.

GAME RECAP
Olivet Nazarene went up 9-0 in the first four minutes of the contest. Michaela Schmidt ended the drought after making a layup.
Moments later, the Tigers went up 19-6 with 4:14 left in the first quarter. IU Northwest closed out the quarter on a 7-4 run after Samantha Martin made back-to-back layups.
Katelyn Halfacre started the second quarter with back-to-back three-pointers to make it 29-20 ONU. The Tigers made it 33-23 with 7:42 left in the period.
The RedHawks made a 5-0 run after Schmidt made consecutive layups. IU Northwest closed out the first half, scoring the last five points after Meghan Long hit a pair of free throws and Schmidt hit a three-pointer to cut it to 45-43 ONU.
Long started the fourth quarter with a layup to tie the contest at 45-all. IU Northwest took the lead after Tiara Jackson and Schmidt hit back-to-back layups to make it 49-47 RedHawks.
ONU later tied it with four minutes to go in the third then Halfacre knocked down another triple for a 59-56 lead. Both teams traded ties the rest of the third period as the score was tied 66-all at the end of the quarter.
The score was 72-70 ONU with 7:33 to play in the game. Karli Miller hit a layup then Schmidt hit two straight to give the RedHawks a 76-70 advantage.
The Tigers fought back and made a 9-2 run to grab a 79-78 lead with 3:09 left to go. Alyna Santiago quickly gave the lead right back.
Both teams traded shooting free throws the rest of the way. ONU ended up coming out on top 91-88.
