MEQUON, Wis. — Katie Plopper and Nora Loebbert etched their names atop the Indiana University Northwest record book Saturday, each posting program-record times as the RedHawks competed at the Ken Weidt Classic, hosted by Concordia University Wisconsin.

Plopper, a junior, led the IU Northwest women across the 6K course in 24:54.6, good for ninth place in a field paced by Wis.-Parkside's Josie Kooima, who won in 23:22.7. Loebbert, a senior, followed in 25:49.0 for 20th place, with both runners' times standing as new program bests.

Sierra Grant, Addison Waddell and Chloe Miller rounded out the RedHawks' scoring five. Grant finished in 28:23.9, Waddell crossed in 29:15.5 and Miller followed in 29:29.8. Zaria Gildon (32:27.8), Alivia Roberts (33:17.8) and Ally Fremouw (33:33.8) also competed for IU Northwest.

On the men's side, freshman Eli Tyrpin paced the RedHawks over the 8K course, finishing in 30:20.5 in a race won by Concordia Wisconsin's Isaiah Lubner in 25:54.5. Alec McDonald followed in 35:04.5, with Owen Tyrpin close behind in 36:15.1, as all three IU Northwest men competed in a field that included Wis.-Whitewater, Wis.-Parkside, Carthage, Harper College, Moody Bible Institute and Maranatha Baptist, among others.

IU Northwest continues its 2026 season Sept. 18 at the Tiger Midwest Classic, hosted by Olivet Nazarene University at Aspen Ridge Golf Course in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
