GARY, Ind. – Freshman Katie Plopper and sophomore Jaiden Harmon were named Co-Sparta Dome RedHawk Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 21-26. The two athletes competed in the 16^th Annual NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on Saturday, October 26 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Plopper had a career best performance dropping 36 seconds off her previous best time. She finished 117^th overall with a new overall best time 22:36. Harmon also had a career performance as he finished with a personal record of 30:30 finishing in 188^th place, which is over a minute increase from his performance at this exact event last season.

This previous meet was the last of the regular season, and the two will be back in action for the CCAC Championship that takes in Bettendorf, Iowa at Crow Creek Park, start time TBA.
