GARY, Ind. – There are three home contests this week for the Indiana University Northwest between volleyball and women's soccer, while men's soccer hits the road twice and cross country returns to action Friday at Olivet Nazarene.

Men's Soccer
After picking up a pair of wins last week behind five goals from
Dom Bixeman and six saves by
Jared Hecimovich, the RedHawks look to carry that momentum into Wednesday when they travel to Marian and then Saturday in the conference opener at Saint Xavier.
The Knights are 3-0-2 this season with the ties coming at Lourdes and No. 19 Indiana Tech, while SXU is 2-0-4. The Cougars welcome Purdue Northwest Tuesday before hosting IUN Saturday afternoon.
Women's Soccer
The RedHawks are looking to keep their unbeaten streak going this week against 5-1-0 Goshen, who lost its first match Saturday against Madonna 1-0. IUN, meanwhile, blanked its last two opponents, IU East and Saint Francis (Ind.) over the last week.
Isabel Escalera has made 26 saves through four matches for the RedHawks, which includes a season-best nine in the season opener against Lawrence Tech.
Kelly Shaffer leads the IUN offense with three goals, while
Olivia Montes has also tallied a goal.
Volleyball
After dropping seven of the last eight, the RedHawks are looking to get back into the win column this week as they play their next three inside the Savannah Center. This week, IUN hosts CCAC foes Judson and St. Francis, who are a combined 9-8.
Offensively for the RedHawks
Briah Strezo and
Jaelyn Donald have a combined 178 kills, while
Erica Packwood has dished 221 assists. Defensively,
Baileigh Uporsky totaled 40 blocks and
Chloe Roberts has 209 digs, which both rank in the top three in the league.
Cross Country
Following the first race of the season at Lewis, the RedHawks took last weekend off before they head into competition Friday at the Midwest Classic hosted by Olivet Nazarene.
Alexis Chavarria finished the last race in 23:02, while
Jaiden Hurrie crossed the line in 26:01.
