GARY, Ind. — As the 2025–26 school year ends, the Indiana University Northwest Athletics Department has opened registration for its annual RedHawk Youth Summer Camps, set to take place throughout June. The cost for each camp is $50 per child, with a discounted rate of $40 for each additional child from the same household. The registration fee includes a RedHawk T-shirt.

The summer camp season begins with soccer, scheduled for June 8–10 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center (6600 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410). The soccer camp is open to boys and girls ages 7–12.

Volleyball camp follows on June 15–17 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Savannah Center Gymnasium on the IU Northwest campus. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 7–14.

Basketball camp will take place June 22–24 at the Savannah Center Gymnasium and will feature two sessions. The Kids Camp (ages 6-10) runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the Skills Camp (ages 10-15) from 1 to 4 p.m.
