IU Northwest Bookstore Recap: Tiara Jackson's Career-High 31 Points Leads Indiana Northwest Past Judson

GARY, Ind. — Senior forward Tiara Jackson recorded a career-high 31 points, along with 17 rebounds and five blocks, to lead Indiana Northwest to a 58-40 victory over Judson University in CCAC play on Wednesday evening at the Savannah Center.

Jackson was dominant throughout the game, shooting an efficient 14-for-24 from the field and adding three free throws on four attempts. Her 31-point performance marked a new personal best, surpassing her previous career high.

Katelyn Halfacre added 12 points and a team-high seven assists, while Alyna Santiago chipped in five points and five rebounds. The RedHawks (11-4, 4-3 CCAC) controlled the glass with a 44-44 rebounding margin and capitalized on Judson's 15 turnovers, converting them into 21 points.

Indiana Northwest outscored Judson 16-7 in the third quarter, extending its lead behind Jackson's steady play in the post. The Eagles (4-11, 1-6 CCAC) struggled offensively, shooting just 23.0% from the field, despite a double-double effort from Demiah Hawkins with 11 rebounds and four points.

Judson managed to close the gap slightly in the fourth quarter but could not overcome Indiana Northwest's balanced scoring and defensive pressure. The RedHawks led by as many as 23 points in the final frame.

Indiana Northwest returns to action on Saturday, January 11, at 1 p.m. CT, when they travel to Palos Heights to take on Trinity Christian College in a CCAC matchup.
