GARY, Ind. –
Tiara Jackson hit the 1,000-point mark, but the Indiana University Northwest women's basketball team dropped a 68-58 decision to CCAC foe Roosevelt Thursday evening inside the Savannah Center.
The RedHawks (9-7, 5-3) and Lakers went back and forth through the first quarter with neither side taking a lead larger than four. However, after Jackson tied the contest to begin the second period RU scored on its next trip down the floor and took the lead until late in the third quarter.

However, on the next trip down the floor the Lakers drained a three and retook the advantage. RU would hold the lead for the remainder of the battle, but after going on top 60-48 IUN had one last run.
