Tiara Jackson each had their second consecutive 20-point performance for the Indiana University Northwest women's basketball team in the 91-52 victory over Judson Wednesday night.
From tip off the RedHawks never trailed, as Jackson gave IUN its first points of the day on a shot down low less than two minutes into action. The lead ballooned to 16 in the opening quarter after
Samantha Martin nailed a jumper in the paint late
At the 7:47 mark in the second period
Katelyn Halfacre, who had 19 points hit from the long range to push the RedHawks lead over 20 for the remainder of the contest.
During the second half
Maranda Mason got in on the action when she hit one of IUN's 10 three pointers. Then in the fourth quarter,
Makayla Best, who had 11 points connected from deep twice and Halfacre stayed hot with her fifth three of the day.
For the game, Carrothers led the way with 28 points, seven rebounds, five assists and seven steals. Jackson, meanwhile, closed out her night with 21 to inch closer to the 1,000-point mark for her career.
