GARY, Ind. – The Indiana University Northwest men's soccer team starts the action off this week, while volleyball concludes the weekend Saturday afternoon as they wrap up the two-day Liz Lykowski Tournament in Fort Wayne.

6 p.m. – Volleyball at Indiana Tech
Saturday, Sept. 9
12 p.m. – Volleyball versus Goshen (Fort Wayne, Ind.)
2 p.m. – Volleyball versus Concordia (Fort Wayne, Ind.)
Men's Soccer
The RedHawks play a pair of matches this week, the first battle is at USCAA foe Andrews on Tuesday before coming back home and hosting IUPU Columbus on Friday evening. Last season, IUN blitzed the Cardinals 7-2, and it is the first meeting with the Crimson Pride.
Through two games for the RedHawks,
Jared Hecimovich has made 13 saves, while
Francisco Torres and
Luis Limones have each scored a goal to lead the team.
Women's Soccer
The test this week for IUN is a road match up against Saint Francis (Ind.), who is 0-3-1 with the tie coming at St. Francis (Ill.). The Cougars and RedHawks played for the first-time last season and the match ended in a 2-2 tie.
This season USF has been outscored in the four matches 5-0, and goalkeeper Amber Morgan is allowing 1.4 goals per game, while stopping 26 shots. IUN keeper
Isabel Escalera, meanwhile, has made 21 saves and had her first shutout of the season Saturday evening against IU East.
Volleyball
Last weekend for the RedHawks,
Briah Strezo hammered 52 kills, added 51 digs and had seven total blocks.
Erica Packwood, meanwhile, led IUN in assists (80) and service aces (12) as the RedHawks went 1-3 at Siena Heights.
This weekend, IUN travels back to Fort Wayne for the Liz Lykowski Tournament, which is hosted by Indiana Tech. Friday, the RedHawks play IU Southeast (2-2) and Indiana Tech (7-2) and then on Saturday they are slated to take on Goshen (6-2) and 6-1 Concordia (Mich.).
