Huntington, Ind. - IU Northwest in search of its fifth straight victory on the road at Huntington were unable to shake off a sluggish start and fell to the Forresters 89-62. THe RedHawks trailed 19-4 in the opening quarter and 43-27 at the half. The Foresters would squash any ideas of a RedHawk rally with a big 28-12 third quarter to put the game away as IUN lost for just the second time in it's first 10 games to start the season.

The Foresters were red hot from the opening tip and shot a blistering 50% from the floor and 50% from long distance (10-20). IU Northwest was paced by Tiara Jackson fresh off her CCAC player of the week honors as she notched another double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Katelyn Halfacre led the RedHawks in scoring with 17 points off the bench. Karli MIller was the only other RedHawk in double figures as she added 10 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists. IU Northwest plagued by 23 turnovers shot 39% from the floor, however were just 13-27 from the line.

The RedHawks (8-2/5-0) four game winning streak came to an end, however they area lone at the top of the CCAC with a 5-0 record. They return to CCAC play this Saturday when they host the IU South Bend Titans (9-1) in matchup of two the league's top teams. Tip is set for 1 p.m. CT.
