Talia Roldan begins her first season as an assistant coach with the IU Northwest women's basketball team in 2023.  

Roldan, who is a Merrillville, Ind., native and an Andrean High School graduate played five seasons of NCAA Division I basketball. She began her career at the University of Alabama Birmingham where she saw action in 27 games with the Blazers and helped the team to a C-USA title. She spent her junior and senior seasons with Arkansas State playing in 24 contests. 

As a graduate transfer, Roldan spent the year with USC Upstate and helped the team advance to the Big South Tournament quarterfinals. She started 10 games during the 2022-23 season and saw action in 25. She averaged nearly five points and 3.5 rebounds per game, while blocking a team-high 12 blocks.
