Sarah Martin begins her second season as an assistant women's basketball coach at IU Northwest.
During her first season on the sidelines, the RedHawks won 17 games and advanced to the CCAC Tournament semifinals. IUN also won 6-of-8 to finish the season including a season sweep of Olivet Nazarene.
Martin played four seasons with the RedHawks beginning in 2019. The DeMotte, Ind., native finished her decorated career with over 1,000 points and is in the top 10 at IUN in career scoring.
During her senior season, Martin scored a career-best 31 points against Trinity Christian. Martin also pulled down nine rebounds in the contest against St. Francis.
Throughout her career, Martin earned All-CCAC academic honors and captured a second team all-conference award.
