GARY, Ind. — Senior forward EJ Brown-Griffin has been named the Herff Jones RedHawk Athlete of the Week for Week 19 after a dominant performance in Indiana University Northwest's lone game between Jan. 26 and Jan. 31.

In the RedHawks' Jan. 28 home game against Calumet College of St. Joseph, Brown-Griffin delivered one of the season's best individual performances, leading the team with 21 points on highly efficient shooting and adding 13 rebounds in a complete double-double that anchored the RedHawks' effort in a 71-61 victory at the Savannah Center. Brown-Griffin also contributed defensively with a steal, showcasing her ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor. Her performance helped IUN build a lead early and maintain control through the second half, providing a physical presence inside and a consistent threat on the offensive glass.

A senior from Chicago, Brown-Griffin has steadily emerged as a focal point of the RedHawks' frontcourt attack. Her work on the boards and efficiency scoring in the paint continue to set the tone for IUN's inside play.
