For the second year in a row and just the third time in program history, the Indiana University Northwest men's basketball team is heading to the NAIA National Tournament. Head coach Javier Heridia and his squad earned an automatic bid into the tournament due to their strong regular season performance.

The RedHawks earned a 12-seed in the Cramer Quadrant of the men's bracket and will face the University of Mobile (Ala.) in the first round. Mobile enters the tournament with a 21-7 record and appeared in the "receiving votes" category of the final NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll. The Rams are led by head coach Darnell Archey, who has several ties to Indiana, including serving as director of basketball operations at Butler University from 2009-2013 during Brad Stevens' two Final Four runs.

Women's Basketball (23-7, 10-seed in NAIA Tournament)

For the sixth time in program history and the first time since 2023, the Indiana University Northwest women's basketball team is heading back to the NAIA National Tournament. First-year head coach Nicki Monahan-Keith guided the RedHawks to an at-large bid following an impressive regular season and conference tournament run.

The RedHawks earned a 10-seed in the Liston Quadrant and will face Florida Memorial University in the first round. Florida Memorial boasts a 23-4 record and captured both the regular season and tournament titles in the Sun Conference. The Lions are led by Kamesha Moore, the Sun Conference Player of the Year and team's leading scorer at 14.2 points per game.
