Crown Point, Ind. - IU Northwest Women's Soccer hosted the St. Francis Cougars for non-conference matchup on Wednesday night in Crown Point at the Sparta Dome. The RedHawks jumped out to an early lead courtesy of an Olivia Hansen goal in the 6^th minute of action.

The Cougars would get a first half goal of their own to knot the match at one each at the half. The match remained competitive throughout the second half particularly in the middle of the pitch as both teams combined for just 14 shots on goal.

The Cougars would tally the goa head goal in the 88^th minute to secure the come behind victory. IU Northwest were outshot 8-6 in the match and earned just one corner compared to four by the Cougars. Isabel Escalera had a match high four saves for IU Northwest. Olivia Hansen tallied a team high four shots with two on goal.

The RedHawks (2-2) return to action this Saturday when they host the Madonna Crusaders for a non-c0nfference matchup at the Sparta Dome with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
