Following Saturday's victory at Roosevelt, the RedHawks secured the second spot in this week's CCAC Tournament. If IUN wins Wednesday, it will host the second round of the CCAC Tournament Friday at 6 p.m. Both games are going to be broadcast on JED TV.

The RedHawks swept the season series against St. Francis, but the Saints come into Wednesday's contest having won five of their last six. USF is led offensively by Rahmel Davis, who has scored 16.5 points per game and has pulled down a team-best 126 rebounds.

Dannie Smith, who is looking to add postseason accolades to his resume is the RedHawks leading scorer and rebounder at 15.1 points and eight per contest. Anthony Taylor and Trace Williams are also looking for potential spots on the upcoming all-conference team, as the guard duo combined to score 559 points, block 57 shots and grab 270 rebounds.

Looking for a return trip to the NAIA Tournament, the RedHawks are going to have to get there on the road. IUN is the five seed this year, and heads back to Roosevelt Tuesday and barring an upset travel to IU South Bend Thursday.

Since the start of February, the Lakers have gone 4-3 with all three losses have come at home, which includes Saturday's game against IUN. The Lakers have three who are averaging double figures scoring. Jayla Turchin is RU's top rebounder as she has pulled down over 200 rebounds.

After dropping two straight to end January and open February, the RedHawks have won 5-of-6 with four of the victories on the road. Over that stretch, Jessica Carrothers has been scoring nearly 32 points a game, while Tiara Jackson and Samantha Martin are scoring 14.7 and 10.8 points per game respectively. Jackson and Martin have also combined to grab 107 rebounds over that time.
