GARY, Ind. – After another round of winter weather changed the Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball schedule, the RedHawks look to get back on the court Wednesday at Calumet St. Joseph's and Saturday inside the Savannah Center against St. Francis.

Men's Basketball
The RedHawks got back to their winning ways Saturday with a 16-point victory over IU South Bend. IUN got a game-high 17 points from
Jalen Houston, while
Brian Hernandez added 15.
Demarius Splunge, meanwhile, added a team-best seven rebounds to go along with
Trace Williams and
Jaylen Jennings, who combined for 12 boards.
Among the CCAC statistical leaders, Houston is the seventh leading scorer,
Dannie Smith pulls down an average of seven rebounds per game, which is ranks fourth and
Anthony Taylor has swatted 22 shots putting him fourth in the league.
After defeating Trinity Christian Jan. 10, CCSJ has dropped three straight and 8-of-10 since early December. Saturday's opponent St. Francis has lost three in a row and four of its last six since the calendar flipped to 2024.
Women's Basketball
IUN is looking to get back into the win column Wednesday evening when it travels to CCSJ. The RedHawks defeated the Crimson Wave 88-37 in mid-November and hung on to dispatch St. Francis 79-76. In both games, IUN was led by
Makayla Best, who dropped 18 and 17 points respectively.
As we near the final month of the regular season, the RedHawks currently sit in fifth place in the CCAC and three and a half behind Governors State for second place.
Since the RedHawks win at St. Francis, the Saints have won just two of their last nine games, which includes a five-game skid. CCSJ has in the midst of six-game losing streak and is 0-10 in the CCAC this season.
