Championship Monday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – One game remains in the 2023 CCAC Tournament as the Indiana University Northwest women's basketball team looks to lay claim to its first conference championship crown since 2012.

Monday, Feb. 27
6 p.m. (Central) – Women's Basketball at IUSB (Watch)

Women's Basketball
The RedHawks got to the championship game after defeating Holy Cross (76-70) and Olivet Nazarene (89-73) at home. Over those two games Michaela Schmidt scored 36 points, Tiara Jackson pulled down 39 rebounds and Karli Miller dished 10 assists to help lead IUN.

Since 2009, the RedHawks and Titans have met 26 times with IU South Bend holding the series edge 16-10. In this season's meetings, the Titans won both regular season contests 62-53 and 67-55 just 12 days ago.

During that meeting less than two weeks ago IUN was stymied by the IUSB defense as the RedHawks shot 21-of-54 from the field and was 4-for-14 from long range. Alyna Santiago and Sarah Martin led the IUN offense with a combined 25 points.

The NAIA selection show, meanwhile, will broadcast live Thursday, March 2 at 6 p.m. on the NAIA YouTube Channel.
