GARY, Ind. – Tournament time starts this week for the Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams as the RedHawks begin their march towards a CCAC Crown on Tuesday.

Men's Basketball
IUN earned the sixth seed in the upcoming conference championship and travel to downtown Chicago to play Roosevelt. The RedHawks and Lakers split their season series with each team taking the road victory.
 
A week ago, Isaac Stanback averaged 15 points, six rebounds and three steals per game to help IUN split games at IU South Bend and against St. Francis. In the victory against USF, the RedHawks pulled down 17 offensive rebounds and scored eight second chance points.  
 
Women's Basketball
The second seeded IUN women's basketball team hosts Holy Cross Wednesday in the opening round of the conference tournament. The RedHawks won the only meeting this season against the Saints 70-56.
 
In the two games last week, Tiara Jackson scored 20 points, pulled down 24 rebounds and blocked three shots. Alyna Santiago, meanwhile, scored 13 points at IUSB, which was her second highest total of the season.
