GARY, Ind. – The Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams have locked up a spot in the upcoming CCAC Tournament and as the final week of play is ahead both squads are playing for seeding.

Men's Basketball
Currently sitting in the sixth spot, the RedHawks men's basketball team can still get as high as the fifth seed with victories at IUSB and against St. Francis. IUN was a double overtime winner over St. Francis earlier this season but lost to the Titans at home.
Jared Johnson, who is the RedHawks leading scorer this season is 26
th in the nation in points per game.
Malik Miller, meanwhile, tops IUN in steals with 48 ranks 40
th in the country in that defensive category.
Women's Basketball
Wednesday game at IUSB is arguably the biggest game of the regular season for the RedHawks as the squads battle for the regular season CCAC crown. Both teams have a 16-2 mark in conference play, and hold a game lead over St. Francis, Saint Xavier and Olivet Nazarene.
IUN is 19
th in the nation in opponents field goal percentage (.354) and seventh in blocks per game (4.5).
Karli Miller leads the RedHawks in blocks with 43, while
Tiara Jackson has 38, which puts in the duo in the top 30 nationally.
