GARY, Ind. -- Thanksgiving is on the horizon, but the Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams still have business to take care of before Thursday as the RedHawks travel to IU South Bend Tuesday and Saturday the men play at Marian.

Men's Basketball
Last week the RedHawks hosted Andrews and got a game-high 15 points from
Jalen Houston in the 83-30 victory. Houston continues to lead the offense at 19 a game, while
Dannie Smith averages 7.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
This week's foes, IUSB (3-3) and Marian (5-1) are both coming off losses Saturday. The Knights fell 86-75 to No. 2 Grace, while the Titans lost 73-72 against Shawnee State. For Marian Brody Walker is scoring 24 per contest, while Gus Etchison comes in at nearly 20 a game.
The Titans have three who hit the double figure mark in scoring, while Dejon Barney has pulled down 61 rebounds in six games.
Women's Basketball
Looking to snap a five-game skid against IUSB, the RedHawks are also looking to add to their current three-game winning streak. The Titans sit at 6-0 and defeated Bethel 88-65 last time out behind 28 points from Katie Gard.
During IUN's winning streak, the RedHawks are outscoring foes 77-54 and led by
Makayla Best, who is putting in 18.7 point per game, while
Katelyn Halfacre,
Samantha Martin and
Alyna Santiago are also hitting double figure scoring.
