ELGIN, Ill. – The Indiana University Northwest women's soccer team sent nine shots towards the target, but Judson was a 3-0 winner Saturday afternoon in CCAC action.
After the RedHawks allowed two goals in the first 14 minutes,
Olivia Hansen and
Kelly Landry looked at paydirt but couldn't hit the back of the net. Then in 28
th minute,
Zoey Wells fired the ball, but IUN was once again denied a goal.
During the 31
st minute, the Eagles scored for the final time, but the RedHawks kept working as
Brynn Nylin along with
Kelly Shaffer took shots at the net.
Early in the second half Landry and Wells tried to get IUN on the board, but again were turned away empty handed. In the 55
th minute the RedHawks had their final shot on target, but Eva Fernandez made her ninth save.
Next on the docket for IUN is a conference game Wednesday against Governors State at the Crown Point SportsPlex.
