GARY, Ind. – The Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams continue its homestand this week with a double header Wednesday evening and a Friday afternoon single game starting at 3 p.m.

Men's Basketball
The RedHawks have won four straight games and put their winning streak on the line against 5-17 Governors State. The Jaguars have lost 6-of-7 with a win coming over Calumet St. Joseph back in early January.
IUN, which sits at 11-11 is led offensively by
Jared Johnson, who is scoring 20.7 points per game, while
Isaac Stanback is averaging just over seven rebounds and 15 points a contest. Stanback is tied with
Lamarius Lillard for the most rebounds in a game this season with 14.
Women's Basketball
Just a half game separates the RedHawks from the top spot in the CCAC standings as they have won seven straight and take on Governors State, who sits at 6-16. Since the calendar flipped to 2023, the Jaguars have lost four of their six games.
In the two victories last week, IUN got 17 points per game from
Sarah Martin, while
Tiara Jackson averaged 12 rebounds.
Karli Miller, meanwhile, had a combined nine steals and 14 assists between the two games.
