Game Recap: Men's Basketball | | Tony Black

Winners of three straight

PALOS HEIGHTS, ILL. – Behind a season-high 27 points from Lamarius Lillard, the Indiana University Northwest men's basketball team took home a dominant 88-60 win over Trinity Christian in CCAC action Wednesday.

With their third consecutive victory, the RedHawks are now 10-11 overall and tied for fifth in the conference standings at 9-5. IUN is back to work Saturday at 3 p.m. against northern Indiana rival Holy Cross.

The RedHawks were spotted a 9-0 advantage to start the game and never looked back as they would eventually build a lead of 22 following Jaivion Reid's trifecta with two minutes remaining in the opening half.

TCC got as close as 15 with just over 14 minutes left in the game, but Isaac Stanback scored two of 15 points on a layup that jump started a 10-0 back breaking swing.

Also hitting the double figure mark was Jared Johnson, who scored a cool dozen, while Stanback had his fourth double-double of the season after he yanked down a team-best 11 rebounds.
