The RedHawks have won three out of their last five games since a Jan. 7 13 point victory over Judson. Last week, IUN picked up a pair of wins on the road at St. Ambrose and Cardinal Stritch.
Through 20 games, the RedHawks are led offensively by Jared Johnson, who is scoring just under 21 points per game, which ranks the Chicago Heights, Ill., native 24th in the nation and seventh in the CCAC.
Women's Basketball
Surging towards a NAIA Tournament berth, IUN looks to extend its five game winning streak against 8-12 Trinity Christian and 12-10 Holy Cross. The RedHawks have dropped just one game over their last nine contests, which was a 10 point decision at Saint Xavier.
A trio of RedHawks are averaging double figure points with Michaela Schmidt pouring in 14 a game, while
Tiara Jackson and
Sarah Martin are each at 12.4 per game. Jackson is also cleaning the class as the East Chicago product is pulling down over 12 boards each night.
