Box Score Gary, Ind. – IU Northwest women's volleyball opened up the CCAC conference schedule on Tuesday evening at home and saw their three-game win streak come to an end as the visiting University of Saint Francis fighting saints defeated the RedHawks in four sets.
Fighting Saints got off to a quick start and took the first set (21-25). Saint Francis rode their hot start and momentum to also claim the second set (20-25) to take a commanding two sets to none lead. RedHawks however would not go away quietly and fight back they dominating third set (25-16) to bring the match closer at two sets to one.
The RedHawks never did seem to find any consistent rhythm during the match and any momentum they tried to establish was quickly extinguished by the Saints (4-1/1-0) as they would re-grouped to controlled the fourth (13-25) and final set to take the match by a final score of three sets to one.

Alondra Avalos. "The CCAC conference schedule is always a challenge and very competitive and we have a few adjustments to make to get ready for Governors State. I'm confident that our preparation over the next few days and will help it we'll be ready for next week.
