- Both teams traded early rallies making it 6-6 after a kill by Maddie Maatman.
- IU Northwest would score four points in a row to make it 10-6.
- The RedHawks had another rally in them making it 13-7 after a kill by Kelsey Ferrell.
- The lead was 22-16 late in favor of the RedHawks but the Fighting Saints went on a 9-1 run to close out the first set with the victory.

Set 3: IU Northwest 25, St. Francis (Ill.) 21
- IU Northwest would bounce back and force a fourth set after winning the third.
- USF led the third set 7-5 in the early stages.
- The RedHawks tied it at 9-9 then would grab a small lead and looked to put the match away.
- The Fighting Saints led 19-17 late in the set but IU Northwest closed it out on a 8-2 rally.
Set 4: St. Francis (Ill.) 25, IU Northwest 16
- St. Francis (Ill.) won the fourth set which allowed them to win the match.
- USF led 4-1 early and looked to take control of the set.
- IU Northwest fought back and made it 8-7 after blocks by Mary Markusic and Briah Strezo.
- USF took control of the rest of the set after that and won 25-16.
