- IU Northwest scored the first two points of the match before TIU bounced back to score three in a row.
- The Trojans held onto the slimmest of margins early on in the first set.
- TIU scored five points in a row off a rally to make it 12-6.
- The RedHawks tried to fight back to score make it 17-16 TIU but that was the closest IUN got as the Trojans ended the set on a 8-1 run.
SET 2: Trinity International 25, IU Northwest 16
- Both teams traded points early on, making it 8-8.
- TIU led 12-10 in the second set then would go on a six-point rally to extend their lead to 18-10.
- The RedHawks tried to fight back but the Trojans were too much and won the set 26-15 to go ahead 2-0.
SET 3: Trinity International 25, IU Northwest 21
- TIU scored the first three points of the third set to go up 3-0.
- IU Northwest would trail early in the third set before tying it up at 9-all then eventually taking the 10-9 lead.
- The RedHawks led 15-14 midway through the third set but that would be the last lead IUN would have.
- TIU won the third set, 25-21 and won the match 3-0.
