Box Score GARY, Ind. -- The Indiana University Northwest women's volleyball team was unable to come away with the match on Friday as rival IU South Bend won the match in three sets. The Titans won 25-19, 25-15, 25-11.
IU Northwest honored their two seniors before the game on Friday as the RedHawks honored Kelsey Ferrell and Maddie Maatman.

- IU Northwest went up 4-0 early after Mary Markusic and Karly Jevert had blocks.
- IU South Bend got back in the match after scoring the next four out of six points then the RedHawks responded with back-to-back points to make it 8-4.
- Alexis Turner made it 10-7 IU Northwest then the Titans scored four in a row to grab an early 11-10 lead.
- The RedHawks bounced back with three in a row to grab a 13-11 lead.
- Both teams were close for the next few points.
- IUSB went ahead 21-17 late in the first set then ended up winning 25-19.
2ND SET (IU South Bend 25, IU Northwest 15)
- Emileishka De Jesus gave iU Northwest an early 5-4 lead after her kill but then IUSB scored three in a row to grab a 7-5 lead.
- Markusic recorded a kill to make it 13-11 but then the Titans had another run, this time scoring four consecutive points for a 17-11 lead.
- Briah Strezo tried to keep the RedHawks in the set after making it 22-14 but IU South Bend was too much to handle as the Titans won the second set 25-15.
3RD SET (IU South Bend 25, IU Northwest 11)
- The third set was all IU South Bend.
- Kelsey Ferrell was able to record a kill to make it 6-5 but that was the closest it would get all match.
- With IUSB leading 11-8, the Titans were able to put the match away after scoring 10 unanswered points in a row to grab a 21-8 lead.
- The Titans won the final set, 25-11 and won the match 3-0.
