Box Score DEERFIELD, Ill. -- The Indiana University Northwest men's basketball team came back for their second straight victory in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest against Trinity International at the Van Dixhorn Arena Saturday.

GAME RECAP
TIU started the game with a basket then Brian Hernandez and Jared Johnson hit back-to-back baskets to make it 4-2. Both teams traded baskets for the next few minutes.
Tyler Houston made it 10-8 IU Northwest then TIU scored the next five points to go up 13-10. The RedHawks tried to keep it close as Johnson hit a three-pointer to make it 21-19 Trojans.
The Trojans went ahead 34-25 with 6:57 left in the half. Jerron Tatum got the RedHawks back in the game after making back-to-back three-pointers made it 34-31.
TIU responded right back with a three of their own to make it back 37-31. The Trojans had another run then Jason Peace was able to knock one down from three to keep it within six.
Hernandez hit a three with five seconds left before halftime to make it 48-43 TIU. The Trojans made a pair of free throws at the end of the half to go up 50-43 at the break.
Johnson and Tromon Weston started the second half with back-to-back layups to make it 50-47. TIU split a pair of free throws then the RedHawks went on a 16-0 run capped off by two straight three-pointers by Johnson to make it 63-51 with 14:42 left.
TIU made a run to get back into the game, going on a 15-6 advantage the next four minutes to make it 69-66 IU Northwest. Both teams traded baskets the next five minutes.
The Trojans took a 78-76 lead with 4:29 left in the game then Tatum responded with a three-pointer for a one-point lead. TIU responded right away then Hernandez one down from three-point land to regain the lead.
Both teams traded leads the next three minutes then Marshaud Watkins nailed a pair of clutch free throws at the line to make it 90-86 with 17 seconds left. IU Northwest ended up winning the game 92-86.

IU Northwest will be back in action Monday, December 20 as the RedHawks host St. Mary of the Woods at the Savannah Center in a non-conference matchup starting at 3 p.m. CT.
