Box Score SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Indiana University Northwest women's basketball team won their seventh straight game with their huge Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory against host IU South Bend, 74-70, at the Student Activities Center Saturday.

GAME RECAP
IU South Bend went ahead 6-2 early in the game before Karli Miller tied it with back-to-back layups. Katelyn Halfacre gave IU Northwest the 9-6 lead after making a three-pointer.
Moments later, Tiara Jackson made a layup to make it 13-8. IUSB hit a three-pointer to cut it back to two (13-11) to close out the first quarter.
Sarah Martin started the scoring in the second quarter with a three-pointer to put the RedHawks ahead 16-11. That three started a 12-0 run for the first three minutes of the period after Sarah Martin hit another trifecta to make it 25-11.
IUSB made a comeback and cut it to 31-27 with 15 seconds left. Michaela Schmidt hit a three-pointer with two seconds remaining in the half to go into the break ahead 34-27.
The Titans scored the first seven points of the second half to tie the contest at 34-all. Sarah Martin hit a three-pointer to make it 39-36 with 6:46 left in the third.
IUSB went on a 7-0 run to go ahead 43-39 midway through the third quarter. Moments later, the Titans went ahead 47-42.
Jackson made three straight layups to give the RedHawks a 48-47 lead with 1:47 left in the third quarter. The Titans ended the third quarter making a three-pointer to go ahead 52-49 at the end of the period.
Samantha Martin started the fourth quarter with a basket to start the final quarter to cut it back down to one. Moments later, Jackson and Schmidt made back-to-back layups to give the RedHawks a 63-58 lead with four minutes left.
IUSB cut it back down to one point ahead before Miller made a bucket to extend it back to three. Both teams traded leads the next couple of minutes.
Sarah Martin found Schmidt at the top of the key as the forward hit a big three-pointer to give IU Northwest a 72-70 lead with 11 seconds left. IUSB turned the ball over then Schmidt iced the game with a pair of free throws to win the game 74-70.
