- Lincoln went up 5-2 to start the contest before IU Northwest bounced back and won four straight points to grab a 6-5 lead.
- Both teams traded the next few points before the Lynx scored five straight to pull ahead 15-10.
- IU Northwest looked to rally and made it 20-17 LC but the Lynx rallied for three in a row.
- It was 24-19 Lincoln before IU Northwest scored four in a row to make it a one-point set but the Lynx scored the next point to win the first set.
SET 2: IU Northwest 25, Lincoln 17
- IU Northwest bounced back and went on a 5-1 run to start the second set.
- Lincoln rebounded and scored five in a row to go ahead 6-5.
- The RedHawks led 9-8 before the Lynx responded for four in a row to go up 12-9.
- IUN had a rally this time, scoring five in a row to make it 14-12.
- IU Northwest won the second set 25-17 to tie the match at 1-1.
SET 3: IU Northwest 25, Lincoln 7
- IU Northwest completely dominated the third set after going down 2-0 early.
- The RedHawks rallied and scored seven points in a row to go ahead 7-2.
- Lincoln scored the next point then IU Northwest recorded the next five to go up 14-3.
- The closest Lincoln would get was 12 (17-5 IUN) before the RedHawks scored five in a row to go up 22-5.
- IUN won the third set 25-7.
SET 4: IU Northwest 25, Lincoln 20
- Lincoln scored the first point of the fourth set before IU Northwest scored eight in a row to go up 8-1.
- The RedHawks led 18-7 midway through the fourth set.
- The Lynx looked got right back into the set after rallying for seven straight points making it 18-14 IUN.
- Lincoln made it as close as three (22-19) but IUN was able to end it on a 3-1 run to win 25-20.
