Box Score PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – IU Northwest men's basketball traveled to Palos Heights, Ill. to square off with the host Trolls in a CCAC 
matchup on Saturday afternoon. The RedHawks fresh off a home conference win over Judson on Wednesday night took control of the game early on and built a 17 point lead at the break en route to a 94-67 victory.
Senior guard 
Trace Williams continued his stellar play and paced the 
RedHawks with a game high 23 points to go with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. His 17 first half points helped IUN open up a 49-32 advantage at the break. IU Northwest picked up where they led off starting the second half on a 7-1 run highlighted by a 
Caleb Jenkins connection from long distance that forced a Trinity timeout.  The 
RedHawks would continue to pour it on and lead by as many as 31 points in the second half as they cruised to their 12th win of the season.
The 
RedHawks were sharp offensively shooting 53% for the game while their defensive intensity present from the opening tip limited the Trolls to just 32% shooting on the afternoon. The 
RedHawks dominated the Trolls with 60 points in the paint compared to just 14 for the Trolls. IUN also led the advantage in second half points with 21 compared to just 6 for the Trolls courtesy of 21 
RedHawks offensive rebounds.
Senior guard 
Dannie Smith was excellent on both ends of the floor adding 16 points and 14 rebounds while fellow senior 
Anthony Taylor added 13 points and 7 rebounds. Seniors 
Damarius Splunge and 
Jaylen Jennings both had strong efforts as Jennings added 13 points and Splunge 10 points for IUN.  The RedHawks bench was solid with 25 points highlighted by Jennings.
With the win the RedHawks improved to 6-2 in CCAC play and 12-4 overall.  The 
RedHawks continue their three-game road swing when they make the trek to LaCrosse, Wis. this Wednesday to take on the 
Viterbo V-Hawks in another key CCAC tilt with a 7 p.m. tip.
