GARY, Ind. –The Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams hit the road Wednesday evening to play Trinity International and return home Saturday afternoon to host Calumet.

Men's Basketball
After winning four straight games, IUN lost two in a row last week to Governors State and East West. The RedHawks shot 13-of-53 outside and 56-for-146 from the field a week ago but swatted 14 shots.
 
Jared Johnson led IUN in scoring (20.0) and rebounding (10.5), while 
Malik Miller dished the ball 13 times and averaged 12.5 points per game. 
Isaac Stanback and 
Lamarius Lillard also averaged double figures and combined to pull down 24 rebounds.
 
Women's Basketball
Winners of eight consecutive, the RedHawks have found themselves in a first-place tie with IU South Bend. Before IUN and the Titans go toe-to-toe on Feb. 15, the RedHawks battle Trinity International and Calumet.
 
Through 24 games 
Tiara Jackson is averaging just over 12 points per game and leads the squad in rebounds with 294. 
Karli Miller, meanwhile, leads the team with 88 assists, 43 blocks and 72 steals.
