GARY, Ind. – Finals week is here, and the Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams won't see action until Saturday afternoon when they hit road to take on Saint Xavier.

Men's Basketball
In a crowded field early in the season, the RedHawks are in a four-way tie for third place in the CCAC standings. Saint Xavier, meanwhile, sits just a game behind IUN at 2-2 after coming away with an 83-72 win over Trinity Christian.
Jalen Houston ranks as the leagues fourth leading scorer at 18 per game, while
Dannie Smith is tied for seventh in rebounds (6.9) and
Anthony Taylor has swatted 15 shots, which is good for third in CCAC leaders.
Women's Basketball
Last week
Tiara Jackson averaged 15.5 points and 14 rebounds to go along with four blocks to lead the RedHawks.
Makayla Best also hit 15 points per game, while dishing five assists and picking up two steals.
Over the last five games, SXU is 3-2 with victories over conference foes Olivet Nazarene, Judson and Trinity Christian. The Cougars are led by Alyssa Crenshaw, who has scored 113 points and pulled down 51 rebounds.
