GARY, Ind. – The Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams return to the court this weekend with the men traveling to suburban Detroit, while the women are going to Winona Lake, Ind., for the Val Weinstein Classic.

1 p.m. – Women's Basketball at Grace
2 p.m. – Men's Basketball versus Michigan-Dearborn
 
Men's Basketball
After opening the first weekend of play at 2-0, the RedHawks head to Rochester Hills, Mich., for the Tim Horton's Classic. IUN battles 3-0 Rochester Friday evening and then takes on 1-1 Michigan-Dearborn Saturday afternoon.  
 
The RedHawks got 20 points per game from 
Jalen Houston, while 
Lamarius Lillard averaged 9.5 points and 9.5 rebounds a contest. IUN shot 50 percent from the floor and out rebounded Clarke and Viterbo 84-71.
 
Women's Basketball
It is another test for the RedHawks this weekend as Grace (1-0) is coming off a second-round appearance in the NAIA Tournament, while Spring Arbor (3-0) earned a berth in the Crossroads League Tournament last season.
 
IUN, who is 1-2 looks to rebound after dropping both games at the Troll Classic over the weekend. Leading the RedHawks offense is 
Jessica Carrothers and 
Abbie Tomblin, who average 30 and 12 points per game respectively, while 
Tiara Jackson is pulling down 10 boards a contest.
