GARY, Ind. – The Indiana University Northwest men's and women's basketball teams are returning to action this week when they host Wednesday and hit the road Saturday for a conference clash at St. Francis.

Men's Basketball
A week ago, the RedHawks lost games at IU South Bend (84-74) and Marian (100-74), and in those games
Anthony Taylor led the way in scoring at 16 per game, while
Demarius Splunge averaged seven rebounds.
The Crimson Wave come into Wednesday's game 2-4 and lost their first CCAC game to Judson 70-49. The Saints, meanwhile, are 1-2 and dropped their first conference contest at St. Ambrose 70-68 in double overtime and then split a Thanksgiving Classic.
Women's Basketball
IUN will have a task in front of them Wednesday as it hosts third ranked Indiana Wesleyan, who has starts the year 6-1. The Wildcats are coming off a 120-56 victory over Grace last Tuesday, which was their fifth straight win. St. Francis was an eight-point winner at St. Ambrose its last time out and hosts Trinity Christian Wednesday evening.
Last week, the RedHawks fell by 13 at IU South Bend and saw their record go to 4-4 despite getting 24 from
Jessica Carrothers. This season
Alyna Santiago averages 3.5 assists per game and is tied for the top spot on the team with 11 steals.
