GAME RECAP
IU Northwest started the game strong after scoring the first eight points of the contest capped off by a basket by Tromon Weston. Trinity Christian tried to get back into the game with a three-pointer.
Weston made back-to-back baskets then VaShawn Sims hit a layup to make it 14-4 in favor of the RedHawks. TCC responded with a bucket then Jason Peace made a layup then Jared Johnson hit a three-pointer to make it 19-6. 
The Trolls responded with a three-pointer then Marshaud Watkins hit a jumper then two straight baskets by Peace made it 25-9. The RedHawks kept pace and had a double-digit lead throughout the half. 
Watkins hit a basket then a three-pointer to make it 44-22 with around two minutes left. Both teams traded baskets to end of the first half to make it 46-26 at the break.
Trinity Christian started the second half with back-to-back three-pointers to make it 46-32. IU Northwest responded right away with six straight points of their own after layups by Johnson, Weston and Sims to make it 52-32.
The Trolls got it right back after scoring five straight points. Jerron Tatum and Johnson made baskets for the response. 
TCC was able to cut it to an 11-point game (58-47 IU Northwest) with under 15 minutes remaining. Johnson responded right away with a basket. 
Watkins hit another three-pointer to give the RedHawks another 15-point lead (64-49) with 13:16 left in the game.  Moments later, Watkins and Alex Constandars built up a 20-point lead again after making three-pointers.
The Trolls tried to crawl back in the game but Peace knocked one down from three-point land to make it 84-66 under five minutes left. Weston scored six straight points to make it 90-69 with three minutes left.
IU Northwest was able to hold off the Trolls. The RedHawks won the game 94-77.
