HALF BREAKDOWN
FIRST HALF (Moody Bible 2, IU Northwest 1)
- Moody Bible was aggressive early and scored in the first 30 seconds of the match after Jake Fultz found the back of the net to make it 1-0.
- The Archers looked to double that lead in the 11th minute but Fernando Ramos was right there with the save.
- Avione Lane looked to tie things up at 1-all but his shot went wide.
- A couple minutes later, Trevor Witte went on the attack but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
- IU Northwest had another chance with Vitaliy Prots but his shot was also saved.
- In the 26th minute, the RedHawks were finally able to tie the match up after Witte found the back of the net with his first goal of the season.
- Moody Bible was able to grab the lead right before halftime as the Archers made it 2-1 in the 42nd minute after Fultz scored his second goal of the season.
SECOND HALF (IU Northwest 2, Moody Bible 0)
- IU Northwest was aggressive this time around in the second half as Prots went on the attack in the 47th minute with his first goal of the season to tie the match back up at 2-2.
- A few minutes later, Angel Gaitan looked to give the RedHawks the lead but the shot went right to the goalkeeper.
- In the 62nd minute, Sami Issa tried to get his second goal of the season but his shot was saved.
- Moments later, Judah Sadlowski gave IU Northwest a 3-2 lead in the 67th minute the RedHawks would not give up the rest of the match.
- Lane tried again to double the lead for the RedHawks but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper in the 76th minute.
