Box Score CROWN POINT, Ind. -- The Indiana University Northwest women's soccer team dropped their Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference home opener to St. Francis (Ill.) Friday.

HALF BREAKDOWN
1st Half: St. Francis (Ill.) 4, IU Northwest 0
- USF scored their first goal in the seventh minute.
- The Fighting Saints scored their second and third goals in back-to-back minutes in the 23rd and 24th minute.
- USF made it 4-0 which the score held up going into the half.
2nd Half: St. Francis (Ill.) 6, IU Northwest 0
- St. Francis came right out the gate and made it 5-0 with a goal.
- USF made it 6-0 in the 54th minute.
- A couple minutes later, the Fighting Saints made it 7-0.
- IU Northwest looked to get on the scoreboard after Katerin Vargas went on the attack but her shot was blocked.
- USF made it 8-0 in the 64th minute then 9-0 in the 71st.
- Janice Oprisko went on the attack in the 73rd minute and looked to find the back of the net but the goalie was right there with the save.
- Oprisko went again in the 74th minute but her shot was saved again.
- Vargas tried to score again a few minutes later but the goalkeeper was right there with the save.
