GAME RECAP
Both teams traded the first 20 points, making it 10-10. IU Northwest made it 12-10 after a basket by Brian Hernandez.
Indiana Tech responded and scored 16 straight points to go ahead 26-12 with 10:10 left in the half. Damond Crosby ended the drought for the RedHawks by making a three-pointer.
Hernandez and Marshaud Watkins made back-to-back threes to make it 34-25 IT with 6:03 remaining in the half. The Warriors would keep their distance the rest of the first half.
Jared Johnson made a basket as time was expiring in the first half to make it a 45-35 game at the break.
Indiana Tech opened the second half with a 8-1 run which made it 55-37. Johnson responded right with four straight points to try to keep it within striking distance.
The Warriors scored eight straight points to build on their lead midway through the second half. IT went up as much as 30 points with 8:24 left in the game.
Louis Williams hit a three-pointer to try to get back in the game. Indiana Tech scored eight in a row to make it 89-54 their biggest lead of the game.
Jason Peace and Ryan LaFollette hit back-to-back layups around two minutes left. Indiana Tech ended up winning 100-65.
