DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The Indiana University Northwest women's soccer team was defeated on the road by the hands of St. Ambrose at the St. Vincent's Athletic Complex Tuesday.

HALF BREAKDOWN 
FIRST HALF: St. Ambrose 2, IU Northwest 0

• Brynn Nylin went on the attack early for the RedHawks in the 10th minute but her shot was saved in the 10th minute.
• St. Ambrose struck first in the 17th minute after Taylor DeSplinter found the back of the net to make it 1-0.
• SAU doubled their lead in the 32nd minute when Grace Kuchar scored a goal off the throw-in from Adriane Latham. 
• That score would hold up until halftime with the Fighting Bees up 2-0. 
• Mackenzie Rooke recorded three saves in the first half. 

SECOND HALF: St. Ambrose 5, IU Northwest 0

• Katherin Vargas went on the attack early in the second half as she recorded a shot attempt in the 47th minute but it was saved. 
• SAU made it 3-0 in the 53rd minute after recording a goal by Kaitlyn Brunson.
• Kuchar scored her second goal of the match in the 58th minute to make it a 4-0 match.
• A couple minutes later, Morgan Wahlan made it 5-0 after finding the back of the net.
• Wahlan wasted no time and made it 6-0 on SAU's next possession. 
• Riley Garcia scored the final goal of the night in the 71st minute to make it 7-0 which held up the rest of the way. 
• Brooke Durkin looked to get the RedHawks on the scoreboard in the 77th minute but the goalkeeper saved it.
• Haley Maze came part way in the second half and recorded two saves.

FINAL SCORE: St. Ambrose 7, IU Northwest 0
